What “MSME approved” means for exhibitors
The 20th EngiExpo Ahmedabad 2026 is an MSME-approved exhibition. In practical terms, this makes it a recognised trade-fair platform for registered micro and small enterprises (MSEs) that want to use government marketing support to reach new buyers.
How MSME trade-fair support typically works
The Ministry of MSME runs the Procurement and Marketing Support (PMS) scheme, which helps micro and small enterprises take part in approved domestic trade fairs and exhibitions. Under it, eligible MSEs can claim reimbursement of a portion of their space rent, within the limits set by the scheme guidelines.
- You need a valid Udyam Registration as a micro or small enterprise.
- Support is paid as a reimbursement after the event, not as a discount at booking.
- Applications usually go through your local MSME Development and Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), and prior approval is generally needed before you participate.
- Keep your stall booking invoice, payment proof, participation certificate and stall photographs for the claim.
